Look ma! I has new fandom!

*points to icon*

Yeah. Really.

 So...

I need a beta and brit-picker. For starters, for a ~1,900 words John/Sherlock fic.

Hopefully also for something a little more serious in the near future.

Anyone interested?

yay! I've only seen one out of three episodes yet, but I really, thoroughly enjoyed it. I've been dabbling in Holmes fandom for a bit (RDJ is my hero) but I really love Sherlock, too. Yay, new shiny fandoms!

(Only the new Star Trek is totally going to hold me captive for a few more years)

Yeah, it's a lot of fun. I'm full of excitement and plans for the future.

I'm willing to be a beta and Brit-picker if you still need one. Beta-ing involves checking for grammatical and spelling mistakes mainly, right?
I'm pretty sharp when it comes to spelling and grammar, and I'm from near London, so I have some knowledge about the city.

Checking for grammatical and spelling mistakes is a given, as well as correcting "Americanisms" (e.g. trash can -> rubbish bin). And I always welcome general constructive criticism and any comments that might improve readability. Knowledge of London is not relevant to this particular fic, but it will be for my next project. If you PM me your email address (or email me at maritacovarrubias at hotmail dot com) I'll send the file over.
