I'm not much for con reports usually, but this was so much fun that I feel a need to write a few lines.
nanfreak and her uber-cool hubby bought me 7 wonderfully rigid inches of Captain Jack in the greatcoat. And a CJH booklet with yummy pics. Yay!! *hugs them*
At the British Invasion of Time and Space party, I met some fellow "Vote Saxon" campaigners and a John Hart cosplayer. Me and nanfreak may have sexually harassed a life-size Cardboard!CJH.
Saturday! A fun Q&A with Kai Owen in which he told us he'll be in Torchwood season 4. Possibly Tom Price as well.
The Disability in Science Fiction panel was very good, and reinforced my belief that I'm on the right track with my original writing project.
Afterwards I stayed out in the hallway, chatting with one of the panelists and POINTEDLY NOT going into the Torchwood: Children of Earth panel ran by
nanfreak and co. That was all very good until Kai Owen showed up looking for the panel. After he was pointed in the right direction I had no choice but to go in there and videotape, knowing nanfreak will never forgive me if I didn't. I must say that the panel (or the part of it I attended, anyway) didn't annoy me nearly as much as the Torchwood Season 4 panel.
Of the three Polaris conventions I attended, this was by far the best. Of course, this was the first one where nothing really horrible happened / I didn't have a mental breakdown. Still - progress.

Kai Owen Q&A:
And a bit later...
Kai at the CoE panel:
That's it for now...
