I love the use of the timelines, and how the story saw its end even before the beginning in a way.
That's an interesting way of putting it. I remember when I wrote that line that Ianto says to Jack: "This was decided for me before I was even born", and what I though was, Ianto, you don't know the half of it, because in a way - Ianto died before he was born in this story. Anyway, I'm glad it worked for you! :)
