I totally understand the sensitivity part - CoE was truly devastating. As I wrote in another comment, this fic was originally written before CoE, when I couldn't possibly imagine Ianto dying in canon. Furthermore, unlike CoE, which left me without any hope, it was important to me not to put a date stamp on Ianto's death (and think how much sex Jack and Ianto can have between now and the time he turns 70 YO, as opposed to NO SEX AT ALL in canon...)

Re age of consent - I personally have no problem with this stuff. I used to be heavily into Qui-Gon/Obi-Wan Master/Apprentice slash, and I particularly loved the ones in which Obi-Wan was young, first-time, and such (*runs and hides in shame* :P ). I'm really glad you liked that scene, and interestingly, in the first version of it that I wrote, Jack and Ianto went "all the way". When I re-read it sometime later, all I could think about was "Jack, you old perv, leave the boy alone!!!", and thus the current version was born. I don't think, however, that it was Ianto's age that bothered me, but the clearly delicate and fragile emotional state he was in. Even in this version, when Jack explains why they shouldn't be doing this, he never says "you're sixteen", but rather "You've had a rough day".

As for legality - each country has it's own set of rules, some make more sense than others (did you know that in most provinces in Canada the age of consent is 16, but for anal sex it's 18?? WTF??) and I didn't want to get into it. If the characters live in Britain and the reader lives someplace where the age of consent is 18 does that mean that it's not underage sex? What if it's the other way around? :|

My warning was *not* put in place to suggest that any illegal/inappropriate conduct was taking place in this fic, it's there because I know that there are a lot of people and readers out there who have issues. It was more of a "If it's not your thing, go away", which is also why I made sure to state the exact age in the warning, too.
