I cannot tell you how much I loved this fic. I reread the prequel fix-it, which was delightfully well-written and exquisitely-plotted. Your characterisation is heartbreakingly spot-on. This one is just...my words fail me. I really hurt for Jack, knowing he's to be the one that eventually kills Ianto in his past, when he knew no better. It's clearly one of those cases in which knowing too much about one's future / past can tear one up inside.
